If it doesn’t, toss it

Toss it even if you love it.”

“Don’t allow your temporary wounds to permanently transform you into someone you aren’t.” – Unknown

fierce little lady by justine-muller on PolyvoreCAST OF VICES MODERN DRUGS BADGE, $190 / Chandelier- Vinyl Lettering wall words quotes graphics decals Art Home…

This post is personal.
Just a warning for those politically correct people who think life is all peaches and cream.
It’s not.
The struggle is what makes us strong though and I’m picking up the rest of my pride and getting through the rest of this fucking crazy thing we all have in common. We call it “life”.

Now for my story…..

The following events are completely factual.

I didn’t could make this “stuff” up.

It’s funny how “stuff” works it’s way up and down in my life.

Like some kind of rollercoaster.

I’m sure this probably holds true for many other people as well. It has too…

one minutes you’re on cloud 9 then BAM

down

(and it sucks being there.)

A year ago I was making payments on a nice car – 2nd owner. I had the man. Money was nothing, I threw away most of it on a hundred dollar a day drug addiction.

I had it all.

Well, I made a decision back then and gave the drugs up. I thought it would magically solve all my problems.

It was hell.

But I did it.

I was now barely hanging on to the relationship my drug abuse had destroyed though and we all know how that story ends.

I relapsed and there was no looking back.

It’s a vicious cycle, our lives can change in an instant.

I don’t need to explain what happened after that. Yet.

In the endthe moral of the story…

I’ll give you that. I think that we need to appreciate what we do have. Sobriety (and relapse) along with being so broke you have to consider eating a cactus, has humbled me.

You must know someone else somewhere has it much harder.

Accept where you stand and give it “freaking” hell.

Remember that we can control the way we feel.

I realized that finally.

If we want it bad enough we will go for it. We control what happens.

So what I did was I let go and just went with the flow.

And guess what? I got what I wanted.

It does work.

I can tell you this has renewed my spirit. I know I will master this… And I’m more determined than ever.

I need to mention one other person before I wrap up tonight story.

This is for one of the few who will actually read this.

I owe you for more than your commitment as my biggest fan (especially when no one else was cheering me on)  but for bringing me back to life… so to speak. If it weren’t for you…

Okay enough of that cheesy “stuff”. He knows he’s the best,

what's next

So to cap of the closing segment I’ll tell you my inspiration for wanting what may be, er, is the best thing for me.

I finally asked myself , “Why keep fighting?”

If he won’t fight with me, why would I cotinue to give it my all?

“When people walk away from you, let them walk.
Don’t try to talk another person into staying with you,  loving you,
calling you, caring for you, coming to see you, or staying attached to you.
When people walk away, let them walk.
Your destiny isn’t tied to anybody that left.”

Oh, but a broken heart does hurt.

I secretly know he’s still in love with his ex girlfriend.

Shh…. don’t tell.

Justine Muller

So in the end my friends I have a smile on my face and am grateful for everyone who has helped me along the rocky roads of this past year – one of the hardest years of my twenty seven years on this rock spinning around the sun (and no users manual).

P.S.

Dear Justine (that’d be me),

“
LONELINESS IS THE HUMAN CONDITION. CULTIVATE IT. THE WAY IT TUNNELS INTO YOU ALLOWS YOUR SOUL ROOM TO GROW. NEVER EXPECT TO OUTGROW LONELINESS. NEVER HOPE TO FIND PEOPLE WHO WILL UNDERSTAND YOU, SOMEONE TO FILL THAT SPACE. AND INTELLIGENT, SENSITIVE PERSON IS THE EXCEPTION, THE VERY GREAT EXCEPTION. IF YOU EXPECT TO FIND PEOPLE WHO WILL UNDERSTAND YOU, YOU WILL GROW MURDEROUS WITH DISAPPOINTMENT. THE BEST YOU’LL EVER DO IS TO UNDERSTAND YOURSELF, KNOW WHAT IT IS THAT YOU WANT, AND NOT LET THE CATTLE STAND IN YOUR WAY.” -Janet Fitch, White Oleander (via this tumblr entry)

The wording was just wonderful.

Why I Didn’t Take Cover….

(originally posted here)

Isaac Inland: Two Feet of Rainfall Possible

So my “neighbor” is knocking on the door.

What’s up?

I’m on the internet, writing a post for my blog.

“Tornadoes are close by”

So I do the only logical thing I can think of during a time such as this.

Sex..

THIS HAS BEEN A PERSISTENTLY STRONG STORM ON RADAR… AND SHOWS NO SIGNS OF WEAKENING AT THIS TIME.

TAKE COVER NOW! LEAVE MOBILE HOMES AND VEHICLES FOR SAFER STRUCTURES. MOVE TO A HALLWAY OR CLOSET ON THE LOWEST FLOOR AWAY FROM WINDOWS AND OUTSIDE WALLS.

HEAVY RAINFALL MAY OBSCURE THIS TORNADO. IF YOU WAIT TO SEE OR HEAR IT COMING… IT MAY BE TOO LATE!

I said to my friend the other day, as everyone acted like crazy people buying up all the town’s gasoline,

“I wouldn’t be surprised if the next face eater surfaces during all this madness.”

I mean I’d rather be caught in hurricane storms than get half my face eaten off by some naked wild man sniffling from the rail he just snorted.

I’m just ready to weather all storms.

No pun intended.

I mean, what else can you do?

Now for our main attraction – the entertaining part of this segment…

Brought to you by this guy:

“I aint a big huffer but I huffed this glue one time, gave me a headache. Stuck sitting like this….. Quit that shit, fuck it.”

If you think the walls are closing in..

barometric pressure ain’t fucking with me”

“Its a god damned hurricane”

“I’ll come back around daylight.”

What else is new.

Good morning America. What a beautiful, rainy mess of a day this will be.

The pressure of Issac is pressing on him…

“Barometric” pressure is the same as air pressure.

We use barometers to measure it.

Air pressure changes are caused by storms, which are areas of low air pressure, moving across the country.

Areas of high pressure, which usually bring clear skies, can move in to change the pressure.

The air pressure also drops and rises when a boundary between warm and cold air – a front – comes by.

In general, you should be ready for the pressure to begin falling when the forecast is for bad weather, such as rain or snow, to move in.

Such a forecast can mean that a storm is heading your way or that a front is expected to cross your area.

When the storm leaves, the pressure will begin rising, but the rise is often not as quick as the fall. Still, it could cause you problems.
